Father Rafał Trytek ICR (born on February 18, 1979, in Tarnów) is a Catholic priest, ordained on June 25, 2005, by His Excellency Bishop Tissier de Mallerais in the Priestly Society of St. Pius X. He is currently a pastor for Polish traditional Catholics who are convinced of the vacancy of the Apostolic See and a publicist. Since the early 1980s, he has lived in Rybnik, where he completed Primary School No. 14 and the I High School of General Education named after the Silesian Uprisers (formerly the Royal Prussian Gymnasium in Rybnik). From 1999 to 2005, he was a seminarian at the Sacred Heart Seminary in Zaitzkofen near Regensburg, Bavaria. In January 2006, Fr. Trytek left the Society of St. Pius X to begin an apostolate for Polish sedevacantists.
Since 2006, following his ordination, Father Rafał has carried out pastoral activities in Kraków, where he founded the chapel of Our Lady Queen of Poland. He is active in the traditional Catholic community in Poland and also publishes works related to Catholic Church theology.
Father Rafał Trytek is also known for his involvement in journalism, where he promotes traditionalist views on the Catholic faith in Poland and worldwide.
Father Rafał is a member of the Roman Catholic Institute under the rectorship of Bishop D. Sanborn.
He speaks several languages at a communicative level, including German, English, French, and Latin.
